About BowWest

BowWest serves residents of northwest Calgary by connecting individuals and families to economic, social and educational opportunities that help them lead more resilient lives.

BowWest offices are staffed by Community Advocates (Advocates) and by volunteers who provide program support. Volunteers help with reception services, staff the free clothing room and assist at Fresh Market Connections (a free-food market held every two weeks in the Bowness and Ranchlands offices)

BowWest also offers Community Resource Hubs in several communities in northeast and northwest Calgary. These hubs allow residents to access BowWest’s basic needs services and supports closer to where they live.
