Ongoing Essential Site Work During COVID-19 Pandemic

CHC has implemented changes to our business to reduce exposure and minimize transmission such as meeting with tenants over the phone, electronic lease signing and reducing our maintenance work to essential work only to minimize exposure to our tenants, employees and contractors.

As we navigate the coming weeks and months, CHC will continue to perform interior maintenance work that is essential to maintain health and safety, building operating systems and building condition.

CHC and our contractors will continue to provide notice prior to starting work. Please be sure you keep your eye out for any notices that may be posted on your door. CHC will always provide a minimum of 24 hours notice to complete any work.

Before a scheduled appointment, you will receive a phone call to check in for any COVID-19 related concerns, including possible symptoms you or anyone in your house may have, or any recent exposure to COVID-19.

If you have any questions, or concerns, regarding the work in your unit, please contact the number posted on the notice or your Property Manager.

Enhanced CHC Cleaning and Maintenance

In addition to regular janitorial work, additional cleaning is being done every weekday in multi-family properties and those with common areas. This includes: clean and disinfect “touch” surfaces including common area doors including hardware, handrails, elevator buttons, laundry equipment, common area washrooms / bathrooms, access points to waste disposal and other frequently touched surfaces.
