Calgary Housing is excited to announce Buttcon Ltd. as Construction Manager for the Bridgeland Place Tower Redevelopment project.
With more than 45 years of experience in construction projects across the country in a variety of institutional, commercial and residential mid- and high-rises, Buttcon will help ensure the 17-storey tower redevelopment is on budget and on schedule.
Buttcon joins Hindle Architects Ltd. and Calgary Housing as the team bringing nearly 200 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom homes for around 500 Calgarians to Bridgeland. The full redevelopment of Bridgeland Place Tower will help bring fresh, new life back into the building and surrounding community. Once occupied, Bridgeland Place will use the mixed-income housing model to bring housing stability to residents without requiring operating funding from governments.
Interior demolition has been completed and re-design work is underway (see photo). Calgary Housing looks forward to working with the surrounding community as the design work progresses. Full redevelopment work of the tower is expected to be completed by Q4 2027.
