Rundle Groundbreaking_lores

Mayor Jyoti Gondek joined (from left) CHC Board Member Travis Moir, VP Asset Management Bo Jiang, and Ward 10 Councilor Andre Chabot at the site of the Rundle Manor Redevelopment on Thursday, Sept. 22 for the official groundbreaking. The new development will feature 135 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom homes – more than 20 of which will be barrier free. The new mixed-income property is expected to be finished in Q1 2024.

The redevelopment of the Bankview property will extend its usable life for at least 25 to 30 years. The renovation included both interior and exterior upgrades providing a more modern, attractive look as well as significant energy efficiency improvements.

The Bankview property, constructed in 1983. was nearing the end of its usable life prior to redevelopment.
