Postal Strike Info for CH Residents and Applicants
On Friday, Nov. 15, a strike was declared at Canada Post. Canada Post has stated that they will not be processing, delivering, or accepting mail during the strike.
How This May Affect You:
- Regular mail through Canada Post will not be reliable for documents you must submit to Calgary Housing.
- Benefits or information you receive from other organizations may be delayed or disrupted.
Alternative Options with Calgary Housing:
- In-Person Drop-Off: For urgent documents, visit our main office for a secure drop-off option during Office Hours only. Our office is located at: 200 – 2535 3rd Ave SE
- Email: For immediate needs or time-sensitive submissions, email your Property Manager directly.
- Resident Portal: Submit documents (if applicable) and request maintenance directly through the online portal. (User registration required)
- For Rent Supplement recipients, if you have immediate needs or time sensitive information to submit, please email your Rent Supplement Administrator directly at plrs@calgary.ca
