Annual Recertification | Frequently Asked Questions
All residents who reside in Calgary Housing properties.
Beginning in September 2026, Calgary Housing residents will be able to complete their Annual Recertification online through the Resident Portal.
Completing your Annual Recertification through the Resident Portal allows you to:
- Complete the process at a time that is convenient for you.
- Submit information and documents electronically.
- Avoid mailing or delivering paper documents.
- Access the process from a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
- Receive updates and communications through the portal.
- Help ensure your information is submitted quickly and securely.
- Sign in to the Resident Portal.
- Complete the required questions.
- Upload any requested documents.
- Submit your recertification electronically.
After submitting, you will no longer have the ability to edit or start the Annual Recertification. Your Housing Administrator will review the information and provide an outcome letter.

Yes. A family member, trusted support person, or support worker may assist you. However, you remain responsible for ensuring the information submitted is accurate and complete.
Calgary Housing provides self-service kiosks at the Wood Centre office. Residents can also access support by phone:
- Maintenance requests: (587) 390-1200, Option 3
- Annual Recertification assistance: (587) 390-1200, Option 4
Yes. Calgary Housing recognizes that some residents may not have access to technology or may require additional support. If you are unable to use the Resident Portal, an alternative submission method such as printed copies for drop off at the Calgary Housing office is possible where appropriate.
