This bursary aims to support residents pursuing post-secondary education.

Starting in May, applications will open for Calgary Housing’s inaugural educational scholarship. With a total of $10,000 in scholarship money, funded by Calgary Housing, The Stability for Success Educational Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to four Calgary Housing residents up to $2,500 each, who are pursuing post-secondary education. Winners will be determined by a selection committee.

Scholarship applicants can be studying any discipline but must be registered in an accredited institution. With the launch of this bursary, Calgary Housing intends to empower resident success and also support in equipping residents with the education and skills they need to achieve their employment goals.

The application is simple and straightforward to reduce barriers to applicants. Residents must live within Calgary Housing and demonstrate financial need. They must also outline how this scholarship will support them in achieving their employment goals.

Applications will open in May, with the scholarship being awarded in August.
